Who is responsible
Clermont Mortgage Solutions Limited is the data controller for the information you send through this website. It is run by Robert Leonard, based in Southminster, Essex CM0 7RQ. Company number 14833717.

What is collected, and why
The enquiry form asks for the following. Nothing else is collected in the background.
- Your name
- So Robert knows who he is replying to.
- Your phone number
- To call you back, if that is what you asked for.
- Your email address
- To reply by email. Replies to the website enquiry email go straight to you.
- What the enquiry is about
- So Robert can prepare before he gets in touch.
- Anything you write in the message box
- Only what you choose to tell him. Please do not include account numbers or passwords.
The legal basis
You are asking Robert to get in touch about a mortgage, protection or equity release enquiry. Replying to that request is a step taken at your request before any contract, and it is also in the legitimate interest of a small business to answer the people who contact it. Neither basis needs a tick box, and you can withdraw at any point by asking Robert to delete your enquiry.
Sending the form is not a credit check, an application or an agreement to receive advice. If you go on to become a client, the information needed for regulated advice is collected separately and handled as described below.
Who sees it
Robert, and the three services that carry the enquiry from the form to his inbox. Each of them acts on his instructions and cannot use your details for anything of their own.
- Vercel
- Hosts the website and runs the small piece of code that handles the form. That code runs in a UK data centre (London) and does not store what you send.
- Resend
- Delivers the enquiry to Robert as an email. Resend is based in the United States and processes the data under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
- Google Workspace
- The mailbox the enquiry lands in, where it stays until Robert deletes it.
Your details are never sold, and never passed to anyone else for marketing. You will not be added to a mailing list.
If you become a client
Robert gives regulated advice through HOME Mortgages, a trading name of The Home Partnership Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA number 616505). Once you decide to proceed, the information needed for a mortgage, protection or equity release recommendation is collected and kept under HOME Mortgages' own privacy notice, which covers things like lender applications, identity checks and the record keeping the FCA requires. Robert will point you to it before any of that starts.
How long it is kept
An enquiry that does not go any further is deleted from Robert's inbox within twelve months. If you become a client, the advice records are kept for the period the FCA and HOME Mortgages require, which is explained in their notice.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no cookie banner. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn open those services, which have their own privacy notices.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Ask for anything inaccurate to be corrected.
- Ask for your data to be deleted, where there is no longer a reason to keep it.
- Object to, or ask for a restriction on, how your data is used.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how a request was handled.

Changes to this notice
If anything here changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that would affect what happens to details you have already sent will be told to you directly.
